CommunityWe are setting up a community process and are inviting you to participate. See the current members.
You may also join our YahooGroups (formerly Egroups) mailing list:
We use SourceForge to host the CowCatcher projects. sourceforge.net/projects/cowcatcher
You can become a member of the CowCatcher community through SourceForge. In order to organize the work and control the quality of the material we have currently established the following roles in the process:
author - you take ownership of one or more lessons for which you are the author.
editor - you join the team of editors who jointly determines the overall structure of modules and lessons and what is fit for publication on the site.
reviewer - although anyone can provide feedback on the materials as they are published on this site you as a dedicated reviewer will provide even more valuable feedback such that the quality can be increased.
trainer - you are using the generated content in providing real-world teaching. This provides the real test for the the quality and usability of the materials, so you will provde feedback to the other community members such that they can improve their work. The biggest benefit for you is to be part of our network and be able to acquire teaching jobs.
builder - you join a team of developers who jointly build the HolyCow! framework and the CowPres presentation tools.
As is real life you may acquire one or more roles at the same time.
